Here are some photos of Samantha's room, which we just finished last weekend - just before the call came!

This is Samantha's bedroom - finally!! I should add that I did do a few finishing touches after these photos were taken - like cutting the tags off of baskets and hanging stuff! It took forever because I couldn't bring myself to put it together until we knew she was really coming home. Once we got our first decree in December we started really working on the room. You may notice that the curtains do not match the rest of the theme - the blue Noah's ark theme is from when Sierra was a baby. The bright new curtains were chosen by Sierra. She chose the same curtains for her room! She still has the blue curtains that match her Noah's ark theme so these bright curtains are quite a change for her. Their rooms are next to each other so when the doors are open there is a lot of bright cheery color visible! These sister t-shirts were a gift from Kimi's mom, Megan, who will be picking up Kimi the same day we pick up Samantha!

This is the only photo I could find of the "before" photo of Samantha's room. This was taken 1-1/2 years ago when we moved here. Sierra liked the fuzzy wallpaper but still agreed to help us take it down! None of us liked the orange/gold carpet!

Congratulations! What wonderful news. Have a fantastic trip :)
Ok, first, I can't believe you went from 1st decree to travel in just over a month! Jealous, but so happy for you!!! =) And we were just speculating about how much longer too. Has Sienna tried Calms Forte? Their is a child version, tho she may be old enough to take the adult version. It can help with nerves and motion. Oh, this is so cool! Can't wait to watch your journey!

I'd say you've done a great job removing fuzzy wall paper & replacing carpet in the past year & a half:) LOL! I can't wait to follow your trip & see pictures of you guys with that beautiful bambino of yours!
